Eat your heart out in Portland.

Last Thursday, Aaron and I took Amtrak to Portland. We had the best 4 days. I can only hope that sometime in the next year Pdx will be our new home.
Thanks Portland for all the wonderful food you have to offer and for all our great friends!
Thanks to YOB for a crushing set and being a damn good reason to get out of town!

The next time your in Portland eat at any or all (like us) of these great places:

Bye and Bye All Vegan Restaurant/bar.
Sweetpea Baking Co. For your local vegan baked goods.
DC Vegetarian Seriously, the best vegan subs I have ever had.
Vita Cafe Try the fish & chips and tempeh broccoli mac & cheese.
Cup and Saucer Go for breakfast they have lots of Vegan options. I go here every time we visit ♥.
Beau Thai This is Aaron’s favourite Thai place in Portland (he lived there, so I trusted him) I was not let down. Get anything with peanut sauce on it. SO good!
Half and Half Cafe Stop in to fuel up before you spend the rest of your trip in Powell’s. They have a few vegan pastry options, cool soul music and the best Coffee from Courier Coffee Roasters
It was slim pickings for us Vegans on 23rd and 24Th for quick food, but with some work we found and loved the tofu Potato burritos from Pepinos.

Okay, you might be supprised, but we didnt just eat! We walked around a lot, shopped, got tattooed at Scapegoat, went to the see YOB play, we even got a work out in at our hotel gym! Last but not least, we made a visit to Herbivore Clothing Co. at the Vegan mini mall. I purchased a great print from the lovely lady who runs this blog Little bird crafts.

And went to see how my cycling hats were selling.

It was a great time in a great city with my honey.
Cant wait for March!
